Yeshua 04:18
The angel came to Nazareth And promised Mary she'd bear a son By the Ruach of Elohim And he shall be called Yeshua Oh, Yeshua The Lord who saves will come And so to Joseph came the dream that Yah he works ways we can't conceive And see this baby is your king and he shall be called Yeshua Oh, Yeshua The Lord who saves is born The son of David the son of Abraham the seed of promise it springs into a man The heir of David the hope of Abraham will save his people from their sins And he's called Yeshua Oh, Yeshua The Lord who saves He's come And he's called Oh Yeshua The Lord has come to save He shall save his people from their sins He shall save his people from their sins

A teenage girl, mother soon-to-be travels to David’s city The sky was clear and the hour was late The air was thick with prophetic weight Lonely hearts strung across the land They've been waiting long for a healing hand My heart it hears and I feel a chill when Love came down, did the Earth stand still? For in Bethlehem - this night Into dark is born the Light Tell me, how can a stable hold God of us all tonight? Shepherds stirred under starry skies Tasting grace that would change their lives The angels trembled, the demons too For they knew very well what his grace would do. For in Bethlehem - this night Into dark is born the Light Tell me, how can a stable hold God of us all tonight? The hope of this world in a baby boy and his inhale has birthed our joy Who is God that he comes like this? When love came down, did the Earth stand still? When love came down did the Earth stand still? And in Bethlehem this night Into dark is born the Light Tell me, how can a stable hold God of us all... And in Bethlehem this night in the dark is born our Light Tell me, how can a stable hold God of us all tonight?

Joy to the world, the Lord is come Let Earth receive her king Let every heart prepare him room and Heaven and nature sing and Heaven and nature sing and Heaven and Heaven and nature sing Joy to the world, the Saviour reigns Lift up this song of joy Wild fields and floods rocks, hills and plains repeat the sounding joy repeat the sounding joy repeat repeat the sounding joy No more let sin and sorrow grow Nor thorns infest the ground He comes to make his blessings flow far as the curse is found far as the curse is found far as far as the curse is found Jesus he rules with truth and grace by faithfulness he proves the beauty of his righteousness and wonders of his love and wonders of his love and won.. and wonders of his love

Could It Be 03:59
Could it be that the King of kings is this sleeping child? Is it him? Is it he who burned inside the bush? And these hands are the hands which wrote commandments in the stone? Is it you who will deliver us all? Could it be that Lord of angels lives in our skin? And he breathes he who parted seas with his very breath And those feet are they those which walked with Adam in the start? Is it you who will deliver us all? Yeshua: 'the Lord who saves' Messiah Can it be it is you who we've been waiting for? All these years every promise we've been watching for! Will your heel be the one to crush the lies that hold us bound? Yeshua Yeshua Will you deliver us all!

Once in Royal David's City stood a lowly cattle shed where a mother laid her baby used a manger for his bed Prophet's word have come to life Jesus is the promised child He came down to Earth from Heaven He who's God and Lord of life Felt the tears and joys for humans Were the poor and lonely strive He was man and with us dwelled Jesus, our Immanuel Just as God has promised Judah all those many years ago From the line the David comes a king who takes Messiah's throne God he came among his children kneeling down that he might reach them And our eyes at last will see him through his own redeeming love He who was a child so gentle is our Lord and our first love And he leads his children on to himself, who is their home Ancient words have come to life Jesus is the promised child

The shepherds watched their flocks by night outside the city gates An angel of the Lord appeared said "Do not be afraid." He will arise - a shepherd strong Come to his flock, he is the Lord of all Hosanna in the highest Fear not for God is with us And his name shall be Immanuel This very night in Bethlehem a saviour has been born And peace on Earth, good will to men is sleeping in a trough He will arise - a shepherd strong Come to his flock, he is the Lord of all Hosanna in the highest Fear not for God is with us! And his name shall be Immanuel

Immanuel 04:46
(Exodus 25:8, Exodus 33:7, 2 Samuel 7:1,2, Isaiah 7:14) Resting at the foot of Sinai, down among a desert people, stood a tent, a tabernacle where the Lord of heaven dwelt. Kings of Earth lived in their palace', Pharaoh’s throne was gold and silver, But the King of King’s own presence came to them on level ground. Immanuel, Immanuel The statement of the Lord’s intentions The Son - the living wish of God - That he again will dwell with us David set to build a temple, Solomon to raise a structure, made of chiseled stone and cedar, standing in Jerusalem. What could human hands assemble that could earn the Lord’s Shekinah? God had never come for splendour, but by his humility. Immanuel, Immanuel The statement of the Lord’s intentions The Son - the living wish of God - That he again will dwell God came in flesh to live in hearts of men Soon we will say God will dwell with men Immanuel, Immanuel! The statement of the Lord’s intentions The Son - the living wish of God - To tabernacle here with us That he again will dwell with us.

We three kings of Orient are Bearing gifts we travel so far Field and fountain, desert, mountain Following yonder star Born a king in Israel's land Gold I bring as fit for a king Rising ruler, past and future Over us all to reign Frankincense to offer have I Incense shows a deity's nigh Prayer and praising - all men raising - Priest between God and man Myrrh is mine, its bitter perfume Breathes of life and gathering gloom Sorrow, dying, death-defying! To resurrection's Son Sorrowing, dying, death-defying To resurrection's Son

Born now is a king on Earth like no Earthly king Dawning is the gentile's light spreading as we sing Lift up your voices for your light has come to every tribe and tongue Light to the gentiles, like a banner waves, all children home to God Hear now as Isaiah's words echo in this child Is God not the God of all - people far and wide? So lift up your voices for your light has come to every tribe and tongue Light to the gentiles, like a banner waves, all children home to God Those walking in darkness shall know the greatest light Those under the veil of death soon will breathe new life We will breathe his life! Lift up your voices for your light has come to every tribe and tongue Light to the gentiles, like a banner waves all children home to God So, lift up your voice for your light has come to every tribe and tongue Light to the gentiles, like a banner waves all children home to God Praise him, our Joy! Praise him, Father of us all! Praise him! He has come to all- Light to the nations Praise him, our Joy! Praise him, Father of us all! Praise him! He has come to all Light to the nations

Bells 03:10
I heard the bells on Christmas day Their old familiar carols played And wild and sweet the words repeat Of "Peace on Earth, peace on Earth Good will to men" I watched the light which dawned across the history of all Christendom It rolled along, the unbroken song Of peace on Earth, peace on Earth Good will to men But in despair I bowed my head "There is no peace on Earth," I said For hate is strong and mocks the song Of peace on Earth, peace on Earth Good will to men Then peeled the bells more loud and deep: "God is not dead, nor does he sleep!" The wrong shall fail; the right prevail With peace on Earth, peace on Earth Good will to men

Should nothing of our efforts no legacy survive Unless the Lord does raise the house in vain its builders strive So Lord come be our cornerstone the fortress of our life Our dark will vanish in your dawn All glory be to Christ All glory be to Christ our king All glory be to Christ His rule and reign we'll ever sing All glory be to Christ His will be done, his kingdom come on Earth as is above Who is himself our daily bread Praise him, the Lord of love! Let living water satisfy the thirsty without price We'll take a cup of kindness yet All glory be to Christ All glory be to Christ our king All glory be to Christ His rule and reign we'll ever sing All glory be to Christ When on the day the Great I AM the Faithful and the True The Lamb who was for sinners slain will make all things new Behold our God shall live with us and is our steadfast light And we shall here his people be All glory be to Christ All glory be to Christ our king All glory be to Christ His rule and reign we'll ever sing All glory be to Christ All glory be to Christ our king All glory be to Christ His rule and reign we'll ever sing All glory be to Christ His rule and reign we'll ever sing "All glory be to Christ!'

about

Noel is a collection of Natalie Kendel's best Christmas songs from the past decade.

Many will be familiar with the Old French use of the word “Noël” in connection with Christmas.

However, a similar word - “Noel” - also exists in Hebrew. It is short form of “NOrad EL”, meaning “born of EL”, or “born of God.”

Although this Hebrew abbreviation has no connection with its pagan counterpart, it seemed a suitable title for a collection of songs about the birth of Jesus.
